Horse Boarding at Ember Ridge Equestrian Center - Moss Beach
Ember Ridge Equestrian is one of the leading horse boarding facilities on the Coastside in San Mateo County. Located in a picturesque canyon on the 4200 acre Rancho Corral de Tierra property, Ember Ridge provides easy access to miles of scenic riding on well maintained trails for our private boarders. We offer a range of boarding options for your horse designed to meet your budget and care needs, with staff onsite 24/7.
Our facilities include a range of both stable, paddock and pasture boarding options designed to meet your budget and care needs. Our staff is onsite, 24/7. We offer both full care and self care boarding options. Stabling options include stalls with runs, paddocks with run in shelters, shared paddocks with shelters, and shared pastures.
We offer a variety of additional services for boarders including, but not limited to, blanketing, additional graining, farrier or vet assistance, vacation care, and more.
Horses are fed owner's choice of hay which all comes from the Half Moon Bay Feed and Fuel feed store, so you know the quality is good. Feeding is provided in the morning and evening and lunch hay can be fed for additional charge.
Workout areas for your horse include two round pens, two arenas and a large event arena. We host a variety of different lesson programs for all ages and clinics to help encourage horsemanship and riding skills. We also have horse trainers on site. Call to check availability: 650-726-4814.
Ocean View Farms in Montara
Ocean View Farms is our smaller horse boarding facility overlooking the Pacific ocean on the 4200 acre Rancho Corral de Tierra property. With a lovely view of the ocean and trail access, this place makes you feel like you are on vacation everytime you visit your horse. We offer a range of boarding options designed to meet your budget and care needs and staff lives onsite.
Boarding options at Ocean View Farms include pasture, a walk-in barn, box stalls, and paddocks with shelters. Horses are fed a choice of hay, with feedings in morning and evening. Additional servies are available: blanking, turnouts, hand walking, graining, medications, farrier/vet assistance, lunch hay, etc.
Workout areas include one roundpen and one large arena. There are a few more retired horses living here so things are a little quieter than over at Ember Ridge. There is one trainer boarding here so lessons or help is available if you are interested. Call to check availability: 650-726-4814.
Pasture and Rustic Boarding Options
In the hills of around Half Moon Bay, we also operate other horse boarding options. Skipper Ridge, Wildflower Farms, and Tunitas Creek Ranches also have facilities available for boarding horses. Some offer pastures and others have barns and stabling options. Tunitas Creek has an arena and is perfect for the entrepreneur/trainer looking to train out of a private facility.
